What is the difference between antique and vintage?
An item that is at least 100 years old is considered an antique. An item that is at least 20 years old is considered vintage. By purchasing from my shop, you acknowledge that the item is pre-loved, antique, or vintage jewelry. As such, you will likely see signs of normal wear commensurate with age, which may or may not have been mentioned in the product description. If I were made aware that a stone has been replaced and/or the piece has been restored in any way, I would disclose that information in the product description.
Do you gift wrap?
Yes, every purchase is boxed and gift wrapped.
How long will it take for me to receive my item?
If you require specific shipping arrangements, please contact me so that we can ensure your item arrives safely.
Domestic:
I use UPS and FedEx, which offer tracking. I also use USPS. You can expect to receive your item within 7 to 10 days, but it will typically arrive much faster than the estimated delivery window. However, please be advised that there can be courier delays due to inclement weather or during the busy holiday season.
International:
I use FedEx and UPS, which offer tracking. Delivery varies depending on the country. Please be advised that despite my effort to dispatch your orders quickly, international shipping is subject to your country's import and customs procedures, which can impact delivery
What is your return policy?
Please contact me within 3 days of delivery to initiate a return. Items must be postmarked and shipped back to me within 7 days of delivery (14 days for international shipments) in their original condition and packaging, including the ring box.
Custom orders, items that have been sized or otherwise altered, are not eligible for return. Damaged items cannot be returned.
The buyer is responsible for a $30 restocking fee and the return shipment, including tracking and insurance. Once the item is received in its original condition, a refund will be issued. No refund will be issued for an item lost or damaged in transit. If a customs fee is assessed on an international return shipment, that amount will be deducted from the refund.
Do you offer ring sizing?
Ring sizing service is not offered. In general, I do state whether or not a ring is sizable by your jeweler. However, if you have specific questions or concerns about sizing, please contact me.
What can I expect from buying antique or vintage jewelry?
Antique and vintage jewelry are sold as is. They are pre-owned and will bear signs of wear commensurate with their age, which may or may not have been stated in the product description. Metal surfaces could have light marks or scratches, and rings may be out of round. The stones, too, could have surface wear or sometimes chips. Evidence of repair could also present itself as imperfections, due to the general techniques and instruments available at the time. If I had been made aware that a stone was replaced and/or the piece was restored in any way, I would disclose that information in the product description.
