Antique Edwardian Era Pearl and Old Cut Diamond Seven Stone Boat Ring in 18K
This refined and elegant ring from the late Edwardian era (1901-1910) features 3 creamy pearls interspersed by two sets of two old cut diamonds arranged within a boat shaped cartouche. The pearls are luminous with a lovely iridescence, providing a subtle contrast to the diamonds' sparkle. The heart motif engravings on the shoulders add a whimsical touch. The ring is crafted in rich 18k yellow gold that has developed a lovely antique patina. This is an everyday ring, sitting low on the hand, comfortable, and very stackable, which makes it the perfect wedding or anniversary band. This ring has a full set of crisp hallmarks from the Chester Assay Office in the UK, which closed in 1962, making this ring even more desirable and collectible.
The ring is in excellent antique condition. Gently cleaned and ready to wear. The box pictured is not included with the purchase.

Evidence of repair could also present itself as imperfections, due to the general techniques and instruments available at the time.
