Antique Victorian Old Mine Cut Cushion Diamond Three Stone Ring
Delightful and beautiful, this antique ring dates to the late 1800s, falling on the cusp of change between the Victorian era (1837-1901) and the Edwardian era (1901-1910). It is a three-stone diamond ring comprised of radiant Cushion Old Mine Cut diamonds with all the qualities that we love in antique diamonds - chunky facets, tall crowns, and open culets. They are claw-set in an open collet style that allows light to enter from beneath the stones, illuminating them. The shoulders are embellished with hand chased scroll work. The ring is crafted in deep, rich 18 carat gold. This is a fine example of 19th century craftsmanship at its best.
