Antique Victorian Rare Natural Saltwater Pearl Half Hoop Ring
This Victorian era (1837-1901) half hoop ring features gorgeous natural pearls that graduate in size. The luminous ivory pearls are well matched, with pink to grey iridescent shimmer and a beautiful deep luster. Their reflections are clear and sharp. Twinkling rose cut diamonds punctuate the space between the pearls, presenting a contrast in light reflections. The ring is set to a closed back. Sitting low on the hand, the pearl band is not only comfortable but makes an ideal stacking partner. Natural saltwater pearls were just as rare back in the late 19th century as they are today. This ring is of exceptional quality and craftsmanship -- an antique jewelry collector’s dream, heirloom worthy, and very special.
In excellent antique condition. Lightly cleaned and ready to wear. Ring box and other stacked rings for display only, not included with the ring purchase.

Evidence of repair could also present itself as imperfections, due to the general techniques and instruments available at the time.
