Antique Victorian Style Diamond and Ruby ‘Gypsy’ Ring

$8,600.00

It’s utterly modern in its pared down design, yet its style whispers antique. Inspired by 19th century rings sometimes referred to as ‘Gypsy rings’, this exquisite work of art is a lovingly handcrafted bespoke piece. At the center is an antique cherry red ruby, and it’s flush set to a richly colored satin finish 18k yellow gold band. Set to its sides are a pair of perfectly matched antique Old European Cut diamonds, repurposed and reimagined. Their open culets and distinct floral faceting all add up to a look that we love about antique diamonds. The ring has an incredible presence on the hand with a hefty weight that hugs your finger. This ring, by far, is one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen. It would make an extraordinary gift for yourself for your right hand, perhaps, and it is also a magnificent ring with which to celebrate an engagement, anniversary, or a special milestone.

The ring is a bespoke piece made for Rings Of Yesteryear. It is new and in unused condition. Ready to wear. Ring box for display only and not included in the ring purchase.

Antique and vintage jewelry are sold as is. They are pre-owned and will bear signs of wear commensurate with their age, which may or may not have been stated in the product description. Metal surfaces could have light marks or scratches, and rings may be out of round. The stones, too, could have surface wear or sometimes chips. Evidence of repair could also present itself as imperfections, due to the general techniques and instruments available at the time.
