Exceptional Vintage French Hallmarked Emerald & Pear Diamond Three Stone Ring

$5,850.00

It’s exciting to come across a vintage ring as beautiful as this. It was a bespoke engagement ring made in Paris c.1985, and it came to Jewels of Yesteryear from its original owner. It’s a three-stone ring featuring a very fine, vivid green emerald with a subtle bluish mint undertone. A radiant pair of pear-shaped diamonds, flawless and exceptionally white, offers a stunning contrast to the emerald. The bezel setting provides an added protection for the stones, especially the emerald, which is known to be a “soft” stone. Also referred to as a trilogy setting, the three-stone arrangement represents one of the most iconic of engagement and anniversary rings because of its association with the romantic interpretation, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

The ring is in excellent vintage condition. Only very light wear can be detected on the gems and the gold. Gently cleaned and ready to wear. Ring box for display only and not included in the ring purchase.

Metal surfaces could have light marks or scratches, and rings may be out of round. The stones, too, could have surface wear or sometimes chips. Evidence of repair could also present itself as imperfections, due to the general techniques and instruments available at the time.
