The Mariner’s chain, also known as the Anchor, was inspired by the heavy chain that attached to an anchor to secure a ship. Tracing its beginnings to the 1800s, it was worn by sailors for luck, as it symbolized strength and stability. The Mariner’s chain is characterized by interlocking oval links with a bar in the center. The nano links of our Mariner’s have a high polish and shimmer when light catches them. It’s stylish on its own and equally versatile to wear with contemporary, vintage, and antique pendants and charms.
